CURRENT CONTENT PROVIDERS

APEX

Apex is a complete online curriculum for high school students. Students learn material by watching video, completing practice problems, and assessments. 

ASL DEAFINED

With ASLdeafined, it's easy and fun to learn American Sign Language.  We currently offer ASL I - IV for high school students.  

CALVERT

We offer courses for students in grades K-12 through Calvert.  These include digital and print resources.  Calvert offers an inquiry-based method to instruction.

EDGENUITY

Edgenuity offers a full suite of over 300 core, AP, honors, elective, and credit recovery courses for students in grades 6 through 12.  

LINCOLN LEARNING

Lincoln offers online courses for students in grades K - 12.  These courses provide proven, standards-based instruction that encourages excitement and creativity.

MIDDLEBURY

Middlebury offers Spanish, French, Chinese, German, and Latin using real-world reading, writing, listening, and speaking activities.

PEARSON CONNEXUS

Pearson Connexus is the primary content provider currently used by OVA.  There is a wide variety of courses for students in grades K through 12.

PREPWORKS

Prepworks employs intelligent software to deliver prescriptive instruction across multiple subject areas to improve student scores on the ACT, SAT, and PSAT tests.

DUAL ENROLLMENT

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

1.

Student must be enrolled in grades 9 - 12.

2.

Student must have achieved a qualifying score in all applicable subject areas on Michigan Merit Exam or other approved assessment.

3.

Student must have taken fewer than 10 post-secondary courses.

4.

Student must complete all required steps in Dual Enrollment Checklist.
