CURRENT CONTENT PROVIDERS
Accelerate Education provides online education courses for Kindergarten through 12th grade to meet the needs of all students.
ASL DEAFINED
With ASLdeafined, it's easy and fun to learn American Sign Language. We currently offer ASL I - IV for high school students.
APEX
Apex is a complete online curriculum for high school students. Students learn material by watching video, completing practice problems, and assessments.
BOOKSHARK
This complete, literature-based curriculum uses a variety of resources to deliver an engaging and complete education that extends beyond textbook memorization.
EDGENUITY
Through Edgenuity, OVA students access world language courses through the PowerSpeak platform as well as a variety of credit recovery course options.
FLEXPOINT (FLVS)
Formerly called Florida Virtual School, Flexpoint provides effective digital courses for students in grades K-12.
LINCOLN LEARNING
Lincoln offers online courses for students in grades K - 12. These courses provide proven, standards-based instruction that encourages excitement and creativity.
MAGOOSH
Magoosh levels the playing field by giving every student access to effective and engaging test prep tools.
METHOD TEACHER
Since 2010, Method Teacher has provided curriculum that has taught thousands of students to play guitar through virtual schools all across America.
MIDDLEBURY
Middlebury offers Spanish, French, Chinese, German, and Latin using real-world reading, writing, listening, and speaking activities.
PEARSON CONNEXUS
Pearson Connexus is the primary content provider currently used by OVA. There is a wide variety of courses for students in grades K through 12.
POINTFUL EDUCATION
Pointful is a leader in innovative learning solutions for secondary learners, delivering a robust catalog of career-focused digital courses.
DUAL ENROLLMENT
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
1.
Student must be enrolled in grades 9 - 12.
2.
Student must meet all requirements as stated by the specific college to which they are applying.
3.
OVA can fund UP to 10 classes over the course of high school. Allowances are different for full and part-time students.
4.
Students must complete all steps on the OVA Dual Enrollment Page.
